Chizaram is an Associate at LawQue Legal. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016 and is experienced primarily in dispute resolution practice. She advises and represents clients in litigation and mediation proceedings, as well as institutional and ad hoc arbitration proceedings commenced under the ICSID Arbitration Rules, ICC Arbitration Rules, and the Nigerian Arbitration Rules. Her practice cuts across various industries including construction, banking and finance, telecommunications, mining, and aviation.
Chizaram holds an LL. B from the University of Nigeria and an LL.M from the Geneva Master’s in International Disputes Settlement (MIDS) – a joint programme of the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. During her master’s programme, she trained at the arbitration practice group of an international law firm based in Geneva, where she was involved in several international commercial and investment arbitration cases.
She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK (Nigeria) Branch, Young – ICCA, African Arbitration Association and the International Chamber of Commerce-Young Arbitrators Forum. She has also participated as counsel or arbitrator in international commercial arbitration moot and authored several articles on arbitration.
